Third arrest made in Sarnia home invasion

A third person has been arrested in a home invasion investigation in Sarnia.

Police said officers were called to the scene of a violent home invasion on Christina Street South near Davis Street on January 5, at around 7:45 p.m.

Police said the caller reported two masked men, possibly armed with a gun, and two women forced themselves inside a residence.

The suspects took off from the scene after police were called, but officers were able to identify and arrest the two women several hours later.

On January 9, members of the Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by the Emergency Response Team and K9 unit, executed a search warrant at a basement unit of a residence located at the corner of Devine Street and Queen Street.

As officers were about to enter the unit, it's alleged the suspect fled through a window. Police Service Dog Vader was on scene and initiated a track, locating the suspect a short time later.

Allen Waller-Guest, 28, was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including break and enter, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Waller-Guest was wanted on several other arrest warrants for other outstanding offences.

Sarnia police are still looking to identify the fourth suspect.
