Final suspect arrested in home invasion investigation

The fourth and final suspect in a home invasion investigation has been arrested.

Sarnia police said officers were called to the scene of a violent home invasion on Christina Street South near Davis Street on January 5, at around 7:45 p.m.

Police said the caller reported two masked men, possibly armed with a gun, and two women forced themselves inside a residence.

The suspects took off from the scene after police were called, but officers were able to identify and arrest the two women several hours later.

On January 9, a third male suspect was arrested after members of the Criminal Investigations Division, assisted by the Emergency Response Team and K9 unit, executed a search warrant at a basement unit of a residence located at the corner of Devine Street and Queen Street.

On January 10, officers located the fourth and final suspect, alleged to be involved in the home invasion.

22-year-old Ariel Rogan was arrested and held for bail on a charge of break and enter.

No other suspects are outstanding in this investigation.
