Police said he was also under a probation order at the time related to previous theft charges.

He's now facing charges of theft, breach of probation, and possession of stolen property.

Less than 30 minutes later, officers saw another known person go into the store, but he was under conditions to not attend that specific location.

The 37-year-old man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order.

During a search, officers seized stolen items from three different stores. The stolen items included candy, lighters, packaged tools, and Pokémon figurines.

As a result, he was charged with three counts of theft and two counts of possession of stolen property.

However, store staff told officers that the suspect was not alone.

A woman was later arrested while exiting the store. Police said she was seen trying to purchase some items in the self-checkout area but the transaction was denied. She allegedly walked away with the unpaid items.

The 31-year-old woman was charged with two counts of theft, possession of stolen property, failure to comply with probation.
