MPP Bailey to answer questions during annual chamber event

The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce is kickstarting 2026 with its annual event, Breakfast with MPP Bob Bailey.

Spots are still open for the event, which is scheduled to take place on January 15 from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Four Points by Sheraton in Point Edward.

Chamber of Commerce CEO Carrie McEachran said registration will close on January 12.

"It's coming to learn about maybe some development, some local initiatives that might be in the works, any future opportunities," said McEachran. "It's really an opportunity for people to network with each other, to ask Bob some questions, and hear what's happening at Queen's Park."

McEachran said the chamber would like to hear Bailey's outlook for this year.

"We'd love to see some policy changes and certainly what the government is doing to help support some of our smaller businesses," she said. "Are there any initiatives that will help our smaller businesses thrive in 2026?"

Residents can register for the event through the chamber's website.

The cost for chamber members is $50, and $75 for non-members.

Last year, Energy Minister Stephen Lecce joined Bailey for the event to discuss potential energy projects.
