The Sarnia Sting dropped their fifth in a row falling 5-1 to the Saginaw Spirit Tuesday night.
Beckham Edwards had the lone goal for Sarnia, his 13th of the season to tie it up at one apiece in the second period.
The Spirit scored four unanswered goals in the third period to secure their third straight win.
Saginaw outshot Sarnia 42-28.
Sting goalie Evan Maillet made a season high 37 saves in net in the loss.
The Sting fall to 10-21-4-1 on the season, sitting six points behind eighth-place Saginaw for the conference’s final playoff berth.
The Sarnia Sting travel to London Wednesday afternoon to face the Knights.
