An undischarged bullet that was found in a Palmerston school yard prompted a brief police investigation.
Wellington County OPP were called to Palmerston Public School at 11 a.m. on April 30 after the bullet was found by a student on school grounds.
Officers arrived and took possession of the bullet and searched school grounds. Police shared in a statement that "no additional items of concern were located during that search."
Police said there is nothing to suggest an ongoing risk to students, staff, or the broader community.
