Huron Perth Public Health is notifying the public of two new measles exposures detected at the Stratford General Hospital.
According to an HPPH media release, two measles exposures were found at the hospital on Tuesday, April 22. One was one the second floor of the Maternal Child Department between 10:15 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The second measles case was found on the Outpatient Registration, Outpatient Lab and Outpatient Lab waiting room, on the first floor of the West Building.
Anyone who was at these locations during these timeframes needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.
