A 21-year-old Sarnia man is facing manslaughter and drug trafficking charges after police found the body of an 18-year-old woman inside of a Nelson Street home.
Sarnia police said Leia Cooper was found dead at the residence on Tuesday, June 16.
Earlier this month, a post-mortem examination by the Office of the Chief Coroner determined how she died.
As a result of the findings, officers executed a search warrant on October 21, and arrested the suspect.
Police said since the matter is now before the courts no further information, including the suspect's name or Cooper's cause of death, will be released at this time.
