Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on August 22, Lambton OPP officers responded to a home in the town.
Following an investigation, a 14-year-old from Lambton County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the offence of mischief under $5,000. The youth is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning for Sarnia-Lambton late Monday afternoon.
