Liam Beamish celebrates a goal for the Sarnia Sting - Dec. 11/24 (Photo courtesy of Metcalfe Photography) The Sarnia Sting have traded forward Liam Beamish to the Erie Otters for a 5th round pick in 2027 and a 3rd rounder in 2028.
The 19-year-old Beamsville native signed with the Sting in November 2024 after spending time with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL.
In 106 games in a Sting uniform, Beamish scored 25 goals and added 37 assists.
The Sting are thanking Beamish for his contributions to the organization and wish him well in the future.
The school, on Oil Heritage Road in Petrolia, was awarded a $150,000 grant in 2025 from the Jays Care Foundation and TD to build it.
The OHL club has acquired 19-year-old forward Parker Holmes from the Brantford Bulldogs in exchange for 3rd and 6th round draft picks in 2028.
The Sarnia Community Foundation has doled out six grants, totaling $29,250, to support projects and initiatives within Lambton County.
The full lineup was released Tuesday ahead of the opening of registration June 16 at 9 a.m.
