A fire has caused significant damage to a hardware store in Grand Bend.
Lambton Shores Fire and Emergency Services responded to the RONA store on Highway 21 (Ontario Street South) on Friday afternoon.

Traffic was detoured away from the scene near Lake Road.
The fire department asked residents in nearby subdivisions to close windows and doors and shelter in place.
West Region OPP was also directing residents of the Lake Road and Pines Parkway areas to shelter at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Highway 21 between Main Street and Greenway Road has since reopened.
