The Sarnia Sting were shut out Sunday at Progressive Auto Sales Arena, 5-0 against the visiting Ottawa 67s.
Ottawa goalie Ryder Fetterolf made 28 saves for his league leading 5th shutout.
The Sting were outshot by Ottawa 34-28 in the loss.
In the third period Goalie Kale Osipenko stepped in for Patrick Quinlan, who was pulled after the second period having given up four goals on 18 shots.
Sarnia is seven points behind the Saginaw Spirit for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
