Multiple people were arrested during an enforcement sweep by the Sarnia Police Service ahead of the long weekend.
On Friday, August 29 proactive enforcement was done by plain clothes officers, uniformed officers and special constables.
During the initiative 21 arrests were made across the city.
Some of the offences include multiple warrants and street level seizures of various drugs.
Police said a total of 15 arrests were made for possession of a controlled substance, while several individuals were seen by plain clothes officers using drugs in public spaces.
Meanwhile, six individuals were taken into custody on arrest warrants.
Four of the individuals were held for bail while a fifth person was wanted by Lambton County OPP and was turned over.
The enforcement sweep was coordinated by the Crime and Intelligence Unit.
