The Sarnia-Lambton Sports Hall of Fame has announced three more award winners to be honoured at its annual ceremony October 18 at the Dante Club.
Katie Coenjarts and Will Greer will share the Pappy Burr award, which goes to students entering post-secondary school.
The award also recognizes community volunteer work.
In a news release, the hall said Coenjarts participated in high school basketball, soccer, track and field, cross country, and badminton, winning a number of championships along the way.
She also achieved an overall academic average of 94 per cent, including one credit in which her score was 99 per cent.
On top of all that, she accumulated over 120 hours of volunteer work.

During his high school career at Northern Collegiate and Upper Canada College he excelled at baseball and hockey, and participated in track, in which he won first place ribbons.
He is also a winner of the Jerry Mara award, which is handed out by the Point Edward Minor Athletic Association, for his dedication to sports in the community.
Greer also posted an overall academic average above 94 per cent.
He has also spent considerable time mentoring younger athletes as well as performing as a baseball umpire and hockey referee.
