The Sarnia Flea Market on Christina Street is about to close its doors for good.
The downtown business, which is only open on Sundays, will mark its last day on May 25.
The owners were unavailable for an interview with Sarnia News Today but released the following statement via email.
"When we purchased 100 Christina back in 2004 from Jacque Beachamp, he had already arranged for the market to open. It was a very exciting time for Cathy and I. We were introduced to so many people who had their own businesses just like us. This was an opportunity for them to sell their stuff, one day a week, make some money, and meet the people of Sarnia. We hoped it would support the variety downtown offered. We thank each and every one of our vendors and patrons for the opportunity to have shared this experience. From the bottom of our hearts, Dennis and Cathy."
A representative of Mutual Property Management Services was unable to comment on what will happen with the space.
