The Huron Chamber is preparing for its annual Charity Golf Tournament, which raises money for local food banks.
A press release shares that the event is a day of "networking, team building and community support presented by HuronTel, to be held on Friday, July 24 at Woodlands Links Golf Course in Clinton."
The golf will be followed by dinner, prizes and a chance to support a cause that reaches deeply into the lives of people across the region. This year’s proceeds will support the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre, which works with local food banks and mobile food bank programs to help address food insecurity in Huron County.
Golfers may register in teams of at least two, making it a flexible option for businesses of different sizes.
Registration is $150 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, dinner and tournament activities. A dinner-only option is also available for those who would like to join the evening portion of the event without golfing.
Registration and check-in begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. Visit the event page to register or to learn more about sponsorship and prize donation opportunities.
